If u never messaged certain people would they ever message u

Are some people just waiting for other people to message them and never instigate a first message. I know the ladies get a large volume of messages but what if we didn't would we bother messaging certain guys or do we sit there and wait for it to come to us

Lol sorry _itre I have my filters locked down pretty tight I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to mentally deal with the volume of messages if I were to open those floodgates even a crack.

It stands to reason women get more mail.

Ratio of men to women ain't actually even

I would have a few people keep in contact with regularly. I think it should be a two way thing if you gonna talk everyday don't wait to see who's gonna mail first.

If the connection is there than they are gonna mail and you will mail them.

If not than there is not connection .

I have often thought if I hadn't mailed you would you have mailed me (not OP personally) although there have been profiles iv seen ewere iv thiught hmmm no I don't think I'd b their type but they did mail and we did meet and we had a blast with many a repeat, thankfully parties meet and greets along with word of mouth tells us exactly what ppl are like helps us not to message the nutjobs etc and keep our mails for the couples, fems, and males who have excellent reccomendations

I've often resisted messaging because I actually do read profiles and so generally don't if its obvious I don't meet the criteria..lol..but then sometimes someone says or posts somethin very funny and I break the rules thinkin we might get on even if its just for chattin....but I would say it does appear to be fairly one sided, tis as rare as sex on fab to have a lady start the balls rollin...lol

On several occasions I have actually messaged a guy and I have had some ver memorable meets as a result of takin the initiative but I do still wonder if the particular guy would have messaged me if I hadn't done and tbh he probably wouldn't have

It takes me sometimes that long to get through and reply to the mails I get that all my time is just mail, hardly ever get into chat.

I don't research the profiles, I do occasionally look at profiles of people I see on the forums especially if they are funny or have a nice pic.

So maybe I don't know what I'm missing...

As a single male I have found its best to wait to be approached as there are so many males so many filters people use any contact that has being made seem to spring a meet or a friend maybe I am protecting my self from rejection not it works for me on the odd occasion I have instigated contact being polite and respectful usually gets results and as U say engaging in the fourms and chat brings contact from peeps U probably would never think of contacting and I am delighted that means contact from all kinds of peeps small,large,tall,short,fem,male,bi,gay,st8black,white,yellow,and red it takes all kinds to make this place work.
