I had a rival in gaa handball, I went on to be a veterinary surgeon, he went on to be 5 time world champion.

Had a rival racing in the abarth cup years ago. He put me in a wall to take second place and he went on to drive wrc.

Admittedly it did bother me for a couple of years after but got over it.

Ive a very competitive friend. No matter what I did, she did better in her mind... It gets exhausting.

But went back to college and I got a first and she got a 2:1..I still revel in the glory..

Last time I had a rival I was in primary school.

We had to compete in a sports day every year against the other schools in the parish and 3 of us always took the top 3 places in the sprint.

Sad now looking back because one of those is no longer with us and the other can only get around with the aid of 2 walking sticks.
