Cork

Great topic of conversation. How bad is the weather where you are? Did you drive into work? Do you think the weather has gotten worse over the years?

Belfast

No rain here. 12 degrees and a slight breeze.

An hour's commute every day.

I remember the weather being so much worse years ago with snowstorms in the 70s and early 80s and roads closed for a week with fallen trees etc.

Haven't witnessed anything in recent years that compares.

I remember those days. I worked an hours journey away.

In really bad weather, it used to take hours getting to and from work. It was just the norm then.

It's very windy and overcast here atm.

Tayto Castle

Wetter than an otters pocket in Cork from last night , still raining today, soaked through working.

Do welcome the cooler temps though, easier to sleep during the day .

Raining here too. Heating on all afternoon. Heading out shortly but only into Mullingar so only a 15/20 minute drive.

Raining since yesterday and still has not stopped. Look at Midleton in Cork. I'm on the road every day for my job. Up to 350km a day. Climate change is definitely happening out there. Stay safe out there

kinda dublin

Came out and noticed someone knocked my wing mirror. No problem, I clicked it back in and went off.

But when I arrived at my destination, I noticed a pile of white sludge at the side of the windscreen.

When I investigated, it was the remains of a note someone put under my window wipers.

I've no idea if they were apologising or complaining about my parking.

Either way, it's rainy enough to for your wipers to smush a sheet of A4 paper to sludge.

Could have been an apology and a phone number for the big scrape down the side you missed in the dark

You'd have had me worried, but I actually already went back out to check that
