Hope the leccy doesn't go out, we're at the end of a line and always the last to have it restored

Do we overreact to fairly normal weather these days?

Or am I a Dub who’s insulted from the real effects ?

All I can think of today is the 1950 Tom Lehrer song "I got it from Agnes"

A song about how him and all his friends share EVERYTHING! Should be Fabswingers theme song.

I tend not to pay much attention to yellow warnings, that's generally Irish weather. Wind can be more dangerous when trees are in leaf though, they are more likely to fall. I always take care on wet roads anyway, warning or not.

Obviously it depends on what you are doing, I don't envy our HGV drivers in a Status Orange wind. Not everyone has a choice

Normal winters day here rain with wind..I do think these weather warnings have been blown out of all proportion if you parden the pun.
