Always take the test even if you fail you'll get a retest quicker

Make phone calls to talk to an actual human rather than the automated system ...you might get lucky because of a cancellation

I used to give letters to employees kids to say they needed a licence to get a job and that worked

Change your test center to some small city somewhere in the middle West. You will get a letter for booking much quicker and then just choose your test centre when booking
