Not Fab related but it’s match day in Paris and Ireland taking on the mighty South Africans this evening. A win will be amazing and keep us top of the table. Even if you’re not a rugby fan, it’s great to watch a game like this in the pub and the atmosphere will be amazing. I think the score will be tight but I think Ireland can pull it off.

Any score prediction?

Rugby is a great TV game, and much better to watch at home, so you can actually know what's going on. Have a few beers and I might go out after.

I am so ridiculously excited.... I’m South African, so will be cheering for the boks, but Ireland are incredibly strong, so it really could go either way.

I reckon it’s going to be the best game of the entire World Cup.

I get the ‘mighty South African bit’ but in the last 6 times we played them, Ireland have won 4.

So why not say ‘the Mighty Irish’ take on World Champions South Africa.

That being said, going on recent form, it’s going to be close, however if a team needs to chose the subs bench like South Africa have, to me it seems like they just might be worried they’ll be up against for a might tough match.

It was just a metaphor. There was no harm meant in it or lowering Ireland’s future games or previous games, it was just a figure of speech.

SA left 9 points behind them because they didn't have a kicker. This was a let off for Ireland, but a win is a win.

We left 2 tries behind us because Kelleher forgot how to throw. Advantage Ireland.

Good point.

The lineout is our Achilles heel.

Paulie needs to get his carrots jumping higher to grab Gilbert in the air.

I dont think its our achilles heel. Just an off day and doesn't help when South Africa contest every ball. Great character shown by the team to resolve it and get back into the game.

We are lucky South Africa didn't have a kicker on the field

Kelliher is not the only one at fault, both teams closed the gap, the movement was poor, the lift was slow, and south Africa got their jumpers in the air that split second quicker which puts more pressure on the thrower.

Pollard will be on at 10 come knockout. Big difference. Huge win last night though. Big physiological boost. Both defences were unreal. Can anyone win it outside of SA, France , NZ or Ireland?

He's good...but I'd be sceptical that he'd be up to pace after missing so much

Half an hour in the last few months

I think there was a reason he was left at home,if hes played against anyone they should definitely be testing his metal
