So whats a professinal then? You see it all over the place "i'm a professional guy/couple/woman"

Anyone with a job could be classed as a professional. For example i'm a shopfitter with a degree. Am i a professional?

Thoughts folks

Have to say I always find that very vague as u say what are people referring to. Is it simply that hey I have a job may not be much but it's a job. I don't get it tbh. Or is it that they have a professional approach to swinging in which case what the hell is that

As opposed to what someone who didn't go to college and sits on their ass all day is it. You say that as if it is a bad thing for someone to be a chippy a hell of a lot of hard work and training goes into training as a chippy and I don't see that u or anyone else has the right to pass judgement or make derogatory comments on someone who is working and working hard for a living.

Question was in regard to the term professional noone was looking for ur opinion on ops or anyone else's chosen employment so kindly leave it out

I'm nearly sure a professional on here is someone who works in the tircery sector. With a well paying job. This is the reason that they claim they want to be discrete. They like to be wined and dined (women) and they also love to be seen as whelthy.

no silly they like to be discrete as they could loose their well paying job if the media were to find out they were a swinger. Im an electrician and work with shopfitters for a well known clothes shop throughout the country and its not uncommon fr the shopfitters to be doing bits of wiring, nor for the sparks to be doing painting or joinery, and we're all expected to unpack the clothes once they delivered b4 the shop opens. U just muck in as a group.

As for people saying they're proffessionals, they just trying to say they have a well respected and paid job, but so what? We all have jobs, some 'proffessional' some tradesmen, some mothers, but who really cares? We wud never judge someone on what job they have, nor wud we offer anyone more discretion because of their job, everyone gets discretion as thats what we wud want in return.

"people who have in there profile that they want "professionals" usually have no vertifications and are fake...usually a single man with a couples profile."

Yep, I kind of agree with you there.

I've seen this on a number of profiles too, usually a 'couples' profile,

and usually its to justify why they have no pictures showing.

Now we all have different reasons for showing/not showing, but then they make demands of "mail with no pics will be deleted", but follow on with the usual 'professional' reasons for their non showing, it kinda makes others suspicious.

But.... It could also be someone who totally over classes themselves!

I'm a 'professional', but wouldn't use this term as there is no need to.

In my line of work, this 'lifestyle' would be totally frowned upon and would be open to scrutiny, but that's just what it is, a personal and private lifestyle.

If its a privacy or discretionary thing, then isn't that the normal unwritten rule??

I mean "Rule No1: Do NOT talk about fight club", comes to mind!

"I'm nearly sure a professional on here is someone who works in the tircery sector. With a well paying job. This is the reason that they claim they want to be discrete. They like to be wined and dined (women) and they also love to be seen as whelthy."

its a swingers site so who gives 2 hoots how wealthy or how high a paid job your in ... swinging is swinging and everyone is equal on their back !! or maybe they "squeal" in a posh accent !!

We believe a professional is somone who subscribes to a code of practice and ethics in their chosen field, is commited to continuing personal/professional development and upholds self regulatory standards as a norm.

Really has nothing to do with social background or being wealthy/poor

"Cutting the dole will get ppl working again,,,u know it makes sense,,,

Or it will treble the number of homeless children wandering the streets

Cop on will u cutting the meagre payments to those who actually need it is not going to help anyone. Reassessing how it is granted to individuals and the situations these people are in. In other words how the payments are made and to whom they are made and the duration of time they are made for.

Get an idea,,get your ass down to your enterprise board and stop whinging,,

"

idiot!!!!
