Whats with all the single person accounts that are actually just couples when you open the bio?

Im not referring to people that started off single but later became a couple of course.

Just the people using the singles accounts as a couple from the start to game the search engine.

We refuse to interact with those. More often than not they arent what they claim to be in our experience.

I've seen a few couples profiles over the years that are really single women.

They were well verified but only as a single woman attending social events.

One admitted they had split but she continued to use the profile and two that I remember said there had never been a male half and the couples profile was for safety reasons.

One of those was also a regular on the forums using her single profile.

Single female profiles will obviously fair out better regarding traffic visiting their profile so I get the motive. Some hide the fact in their bios altogether and a few messages in the conversation turns to my partner/lover and I would love to meet you or have a 3some with you.

Single male profiles do it too.

I'm cautious with both.

There used to be a couple of well verified single women profiles who would contact other single women in the hope of persuading them to meet their partner who wasn't on fab but was going to be in their area.

I don't know anyone who took them up on their offer but the women doing it were real because I met them at social events.

If a profile is missing fundamental information like that it would just be a major red flag and I wouldn't bother investing time

Was contacted by a couples account - and was less than surprised when it became clear it was a single lad. Always would have thought that was the norm!

Anything on a couples profile that looks off, probably is! Fake pics taken from Insta or porn sites, lads on a couples profile etc.

Nearly always single men, after awhile, most of them stand out and are easily recognisable
