Different for different people ... ifind sex within a relationship a hugh part of what I need to keep a bond close and special . So its very important to me

I'm wouldn't have given a second thought in my twenties. Definitely noticed in my thirties.

Now in my forties I would consider it one of the more important criteria in forming a relationship

I think it depends how important sex is in said relationship. If it's not important for either, e.g. both are asexual, I don't think it matters. There are many other ways to be intimate.

That might have been a poor example. In this instance it does of course. But generally speaking, being compatible in your sexuality doesn't necessarily mean you're sexually compatible.

Sure just because you like the same things doesn't necessarily mean there will be good sexual chemistry. It takes more than that
