Ashbourne

Morning, does anyone have any recommendations for a Dublin hotel that has a vibrant and busy bar in it. I know probably a long shot but any advice welcome. We’ve a possible child free night next week and hoping to mix a relaxing day with some possible flirting for her!

Not sure what it's like these days..

Though with hotel bars could be hit and miss

Always recall the bar at the burlo(or what ever its called these days) used to be quite busy more often or not..

The Shelbourne sounds exactly like what you're after.

Get the 103 from Ashbourne and luas from Broadstone in Phibs or go into O Connell Street and luas from Marlborough, down to Stephens Green and its a 2min walk to Shelbourne from there.

It's expensive but we use it as a proper night out and a treat to ourselves and always enjoy it in there. Lovely atmosphere, cocktails for her, nice clientele and great staff.

Yeah it’s been a while since we treated ourselves so could be a good one. Seems like you’re on a similar path to ourselves! Hope it’s going well for you
