i travel all over

So you’re trying to decide if you ll turn up to a group meet you’ve been invited to or where there is a meet advertised

Other Than location and date & ensuring that there is no one you don’t like attending , what factors ultimately influence whether you ll attend or not ?

Between paying for babysitting, fuel, entry costs, booze, taxis, hotel etc they can be expensive. The full cost should be considered. Some events can charge per person which can be a lot for a couple, while some are free. Even someone who has disposable income would look at it all and wonder is it value for money.

Date and location are very important for us, but couldn't give a monkeys on the attendees as we would talk to nearly anyone.

Other than the things you've already mentioned?

Overall cost would be a big factor - travel, parking, is there an entrance fee, will we need to stay in a hotel overnight.

The type of meet and make-up of the group

If its a play meet, the venue - not just the location - would be another. Is there somewhere we can step away from the action and chill?

Numbers. If it's a play meet and we - or any of the others - decided not to participate for whatever reason, how would that affect the dynamics of the meet?

Fixed that for ya.

I think I might have actually wet my pants a little bit from laughing at that.

See you all though I was joking when I say I'm a hoot but now you see it too don't you?

The people attending and the time available to me to attend are the only things that would influence me

Apart from the obvious....For me, its always been the amount of strangers attending....would I be uncomfortable or feel out of place or be overwhelmed and anxious....

Luckily enough, ive always been looked after at the tiny 3-5sum ones ive gone too and never been uncomfortable....but again, it all depends on who is in the room x A

Any good host who is worth there gold would be looking out for anyone who is possibly feeling uncomfortable or overwhelmed that is the job of a host that is why I never play when I'm hosting a party as I feel it is my job to look after my guests

BLANCHARDSTOWN

What I’ve seen with entry costs single guys pay the same amount as a couple and women pay half what guys and couples pay which I think is ridiculous because if you’re a single guy you have to have to wait in the lounge until you have permission to go to the rooms where all the fun is but the women don’t need permission which is unfair I think. When it comes to hotels and taxi fares it all depends on where the party is based.
