East / North, Cork

They do... And I feel so bad for them. A very difficult unhappy way to live.

I was in a house once and every room full, floor to ceiling with just a walkway between rooms. Nothing but filth and just about room for a bed in one room.

Oh man I had one experience with a hoarder and it scarred me for life. A guy in his 20s I shared a house with in London, he destroyed the house in the space of 6 months, brought home the most bizarre stuff. He brought home an enormous collection of assorted magazines from a carboot sale. I arrived back from work on a Monday evening to boxes of magazines all over the house. Couple of weeks later it was boxes of stationery. He was convinced they were useful/ valuable. I often wonder what happened to him

It really isn't a choice for them, it's a driving force in their lives. It's so sad to see

Yeah, a lot of people like that. I stumbled on a video on social media if a lady who goes around cleaning houses for people like that. I went into her page and looked at a couple of her videos. Very hard to watch. Couldn’t finish them.

Middle of mayo n peaceful tranquility

My teens are prone to this

All cups , mugs , plates and cutlery can be found in their rooms .

Buying more of the above items only increases the hoarding lol
