What song intro immediately gets your attention? Is there an instrumental that sends a tingle down your spine? I have loads but The intro to Dust in the Wind by Kansas is perfection for me.

Road Trippin' by RHCP too, I'm not even a fan of their music. It's just perfect finger picking

In terms of an instrumental, "Ecstacy of Gold" played at the start of Metallica's gigs always sends a shiver down my spine.

Grandmas Hands by Bill Withers too, the live version where he talks about caring for his grandmother as a small child and the effect she had on him.

Perfect example of it, the build up to the haunting vocals the kick drum stepping in to say this is kicking off kid.

Yes its good but not as good as seeing it live by Ennio Morricone who beats it by playing Gabriel's Oboe

I have so much music in my head

Some makes me happy with the memories ( The 80's )

Some reminds me of sad times

( thinking of Damien Rice singing am I the greatest Bastard )

I'm very lucky to have seen Hans Zimmer live in concert a few times and simply put the Orchestral version of the circle of life is my absolute favorite piece of music .....it'll be played as my coffin is dissappearing behind the curtain to carry me to be cremated

Enjoy this right through....its stunning

Now that is something special, incredible arrangement.

A close friend of mine passed away last year,He knew it was coming and played Beautiful Affair by Stocktons Wing. I held it together for the day but bawled my eyes out for my best friend, his wife and kid when I heard the intro. "The only way is living to survive, makes you feel alive".

I'll press play on the cdplayer for ya.
