So as I have the day off I decided I was going declutter and clear out a few drawers.

Can anyone give me a good reason for keeping the key of the door you don't know, about 100 biros, picture hanging kit, multiple radiator and allen keys and candles from Knock/Lourdes...amongst a whole load of other shite!

The whole function of a drawer is to fill it with shit and clean it out every 5 years or so. It’s therapeutic so enjoy. What you need to do now is move the shit to an attic or garage for another 10 years then finally dispose of it.

I'd prefer to know why my house has no keys for any of the internal doors but most have external sliding locks - I mean , what the f did the previous owners do . Maybe I need to look for a hidden basement/dungeon

Check through the biros see if you can still write with any of them. Throw the rest in the bin. Put the picture hanging kit, radiator and Allen keys in a toolbox and forget about them. As for the candles light them if they’re scented. Otherwise bring to the nearest Chapel or Church and leave them there. As for the rest throw it in the bin if it’s not useful.

I found a load of leads and wires clearing off my desk last night. I dont know what theyre for so theyll be added to the box that has other various leads and chargers that we have no idea what are needed for. Did find two pens and my contour stick though so thats a win

Shur what else is a drawer like that for ?...only to keep things that you have mentioned...if it's emptied into the bin what else over time is gonna go in there ?.. exactly..the same things you're thinking about binning.. sometimes we all keep things " just in case " ..as regards the pens etc , get a tumbler, put them all into it and put it in an area where they won't be in the way but will be used,..as regards everything else you know if you ever need them exactly where they are
