My typical Friday night usually involves Chinese food. Chicken curry, fried rice, too many Magners, Monster Munch crisps a bar of mint Aero and watching too much telly. Do you have anything you do regularly on a Friday night to unwind? Any ideas as to how I could spice up my Friday nights in?

We try and do date night Fridays. A bottle of red, a bottle of rose, a cheese selection, and alternate cooking for each other.

It s a rare Friday where she's doing a girly prosecco night out actually so skipping this week.

If it's my week with the kids I'll do movie night with popcorn and fizzy drinks

If it's my week off I'll either see friends or glory in the luxury of an empty house by cooking a pair of steaks with nothing on the side and watching a mindless movie with the biggest explosions I can find.

Either cooking for the children and following the puppy around to keep her out of mischief or cooking for himself and following the puppy around for the same reason as aforementioned
