Shaving oil versus foam or gel

I am probably late to the party as usual but I have just discovered shaving oil .

For me it is far better than any of the shaving gels or foams . Whether its my face or puibs it's definitely a,closer more comfortable safer shave. Just taught I would share.

Honestly, the oil feels unmasculine, I can't put it any different. I like the sensation of gel, but having said that I like the result of Veet, on my nether regions.

Fascinating. I use a clear shaving gel and am pretty happy with it. Comfortable and a good close shave. What advantage does the conditioner give?

Naas which is South West of Dublin

I’ve used oils in the past with good results but can tend to clog blades, particularly if removing a decent amount of stubble so be sure to rinse extra frequently.

Gel for my face as and others have said I use hair conditioner in the shower for things a little further south.

Not shaving at the moment but when I was I treated myself to a very nice double edged razor and shaving brush.

Gels and foams are numbing so not good for learning with a razor sharp...razor.

I like Taylor's of Old Bond Street shaving soap for a good silky lather and Feather brand razor blades.

Have you tried the LEA shaving cream in the blue tube, that's for sale everywhere in Spain, I find it good with a DE razor
