How to tattoo??

Guys I've wanted my whole life to accumulate a body of tats ... alas I have feck all ..

If I'm honest money and time , mostly money have been the issue ... I need badly to express myself in ink at the moment....

Is it possible to get great artwork on a budget????

To be honest you really get what you pay for. There is one or two lads up here that are reasonably priced and do great work but they have a massive waitlist

Yep yakuza wicked ... honestly over priced even for his skill.

Tattoo parlor... I'd only get the wex girl ... got one in there and had it covered .

Where else ?

There is a guy from gorey , Shane is his name... use to work in homeward bound .. he is excellent... screaming canvas are a bit hit and miss imo ...

If you looking to get some cheap shit, go to Ibiza or shop on Aliexpress

It's your skin and you'll have it for life, you should be looking for experience, quality and examples of work and then save up for it.

And not trying to get Mona Lisa for fiver. It doesn't work that way.

But, it is your skin, as I've already mentioned

I'm looking for things like conventions, competitions , sleeve specials ... unknown talent etc ... I'm looking for ways to get some good ink going at reasonable price ...

I think you could get a bunch of small tattoos like that. But if you want coverage that fits together like a full sleeve I don’t think there’s really a budget option.

Usually sleeves are done at 150/250 #for 3 hours ... however its not my desire for full pieces,

I've had a look at that all right ... I couldn't tell who was doing which ... yes I defo may look into him again .. cheers .

Shane codd is pretty good too ..

There was a tattoo festival held down here on a yearly basis

But it stopped when the Kung foo flu hit don’t know if it still happens or not but maybe check that out

Very good artist in Dublin skincitytattoo, yeah is expensive depends on what you want.

I wouldn't recommend getting a tattoo on a budget. As _rmrs1234 said, you get what you pay for. Good/great tattoo artists ain't cheap. The most important question you can ask yourself is - do you want a good tattoo or a cheap one.

Perhaps an idea is to look for new artists joining an established studio who may do introductory offers. Or alternatively, an apprentice under a well respected artist?

Got a cheap tattoo years ago, ended up being the most expensive one by the time I got it doctored by a better tattoo artist

Research your artist,get recommendations and reputable shops

I have tons of tattoos and a few of the ones from my earlier years are shite and badly done, so take it from someone who knows ,lol ,

Totally agree. In Limerick we have a couple of great artists and there are Two that I use.

Bullmans in Thomas St. & All star ink in Whickham St.
