So I get there’s way more men that outnumber the women on here. But what catches your attention most to initiate a conversation.

A lot of women require face pics and a bit of effort into The 1st message. Obviously present yourself well mannered without a dick pic.

Now without blowing my own trumpet I’m not the worse looking lad and I can start and hold a good conversation. But I’d say maybe 1 in 10 will message back.

So what does a man have to do to approach you and get a message back. That’s if you noticed it and opened his message.

I would try get yourself to a social if possible. There always things happening in dublin so maybe check them out

Would absolutely agree that 1 in 10 is a solid response ratio. Most lads would love that.

It takes time to develop a message style and to work out what works for you, but that ratio could even improve further over time

Yeah of course everyone had preferences I’m not expecting women to fall at their knees for me. I’ll take 1 in 10 but I know I can do better given the chance lol

Looks ain't everything a person's personality can make or break for us and most importantly read the profile of those that catch your eye and if you miss even one of there wants/requests then just move on

Tbh .. getting a lady's attention ..here or in the real world..is one thing... keeping it is a completely different animal..

I don’t think my style of messaging or chat is that bad I’ve had many years to develop it and I’ve never had to many problems but saying I’m still kind of new to fab and fab is completely different and much more upfront than the real dating world. Maybe my approach is so accustomed to normal dating world

Aside from the humble brag (and I mean that in the nicest possible way), do the math you'll no doubt realise your doing very well.

I've seen posts by guys lamenting the fact that they have been here years with no luck.

I don't send initial messages at all to be honest. It just seems a little demoralising and adds to the already overloaded inboxs of our female counterparts. It's like playing the lottery where you only win if your literally not a dick but are still in a sea of rabid dicks.

I'm going to three group socials this month and a club. Its a little nerve wracking to fly solo but I reckon I might make some be friends and that feels like a good place to start.

Plenty of ladies only meeting through organised events for safety reasons.

Plenty of fakes.

Plenty just fishing for compliments.

You're doing extremely well for a newbie with a number of veris under your belt.

And a myriad of other reasons why you get no response to all your messages.

As a few have mentioned, getting yourself to socials to meet people in the scene is a great way to meet new folks and getting active on the forum makes yourself known to forum users/readers/lurkers. Many a message initiated by women through the forum - it's how I met my partner
