So we have an influx of new people in, some will just poke around pictures and have their perv. Some might delve deeper and discover something new about themselves.

What -one- piece of advice would you offer them about Fab?

Mine would be: "No one owes you a response."

Thats pretty negative ... way ta welcome

I would say ,,, look at lots of profiles and not the ones that peak your interest .... then take the time to fill out yours keeping in mind what you liked about others .... for the love of jeasus don't start of with a blank or dull profile ... give yourself a chance

Be aware of the huge amount of fake accounts run by wasters!

After awhile they do stand out, to most people. But funnily enough there is one "couples" profile that has been on the forums lately, and getting on well!!

Have a few pieces of advice.

Read the profile

Don't get involved in other people's drama

If someone has an axe to grind with you just stay away from them. It's their problem not yours.

Most importantly have fun.

A polite decline is to say

"Sorry I'm not interested.

Happy Fabbing"

And if you receive this response dont take it personally. Just move on.

Enjoy the site but dont take it too seriously

Fab is a broad church, respect difference. You will not be everyone's cup of tea.

Be patient, be patient, be patient.

Rejection is part of the lifestyle. Others may appear to be having more success but don't let envy get to you.

Fab is a journey not a destination. There will be detours, roadblocks, cul de sacs, but keep going and enjoy the ride.

Firstly, if you are new welcome

My advice would be:

Work on your profile - take time to write a good bio and put up some pics. Your profile is the first impression people have of you.

When contacting people -read their profiles and be respectful, everyone is different and are here for different reasons. Their preference may not be yours.

Lack of response - if you do not get a response do not take it personally, it is usually a sign that someone is not interested.

Single woman - as the percentage of single women is much lower than single men/couples understand that woman are bombarded with hundreds of messages (even with all filters on) you may not get an answer/their inbox maybe full.

Use filters in your account to eliminate the people you do not want contacting you.

Get to a social - the social aspect of the scene is great fun and a really good way of meeting people for future adventures. You cannot beat a night out with a group of open minded Fabbers

Steer clear of drama and be kind!

There is a 'block button' for accounts you do not want contact with.

Lastly, you get out of the scene what you put in. Make an effort and have fun. It's an amazing community full of amazing people!

Give yourself time to settle in. It's very exciting at the start but no one is shagging as much as you think. Every individual is different. Don't think everything posted on the forum is law as actually on a very small amount of people use it. Don't change anything to please anyone else. Have lots of fun

So do I, but it might help some and save us some threads down the line.

This is very true..only a small amount of the community engage in the forums but at least the information is here if someone asks for advice, they can be pointed in the right direction.

As another poster said above forum posts are not the law and they can be a very negative place. Everyone has their own opinion and agenda. That is life!

Just be patient, be yourself and the fun will follow

wouldn't you like to know

Welcome to the site.

Beja pretty much summed it up.

My 5 cents :

Regarding pics, especially guys, sometimes less is more. It has been discussed in this forum numerous times and most ladies commented that they rather see a guy with an open shirt or half pulled down denims etc than 20 cock pics. Again, have a look at well verified guys and their pics....and remember, we can see the dirty toilet or the floor full of clothes behind you in your pics, and that's what I would notice long before you're big cock lol

Also, no we don't want cock pics in messages, I can look at them on your profile if I want.

If going to a meet, social, coffee etc...never expect anything, that way everything is a bonus.

As a single male or female when dealing with couples, please always talk to both parties in person and find out their boundaries and rules etc...

In the end, be respectful, patient and enjoy the rollercoaster that is fab/ swinging. It changed my life for the better, it can do that for you.

Welcome ! Be respectful, polite and fill out your profile bio. Photos are optional but it helps if you add a couple of tastefully taken pics. As previous contributors to this thread have said” less is more”

It's imperative for new members to be aware of their privacy and personal safety irrespective of the type of account you hold.

Without scaremongering, always meet for a social cuppa or drink in a public place before taking things anywhere privately.

Is the person you're meeting verified?

Be weary of bringing strangers to your home.

Do not give out your personal phone number. There are messaging apps you can use without divulging your number.

Do not make it known where you work and live.

Use a nickname.

Do not be pressured to take conversations away from fab to other Apps. You should have no problem building a connection on here first.

Do not be pressured to send face pics or any other kind of pics.

Take your time. Go at your own pace.

There are socials for new members to mingle from time to time. Keep an eye on the forums for news on those.

Consider getting photo verified, it's easy and gives security that you fit the account you've chosen.

Work on your profile, it's the first thing we all look at.

If it looks to good to be true it just might be.

Trust your gut instinct.

And finally No is a very acceptable word.

Have fun and welcome.

Make an effort with your profile.

Look at other's and take inspiration from there.

Take decent pictures, the tasteful kind, not just standing there strangling your pee pee.

Try not to be disheartened when it inevitably takes quite a while to meet someone.

A sense of humor goes a long way.

Use help a fabber in the forum to get verified

This is only a coffee meeting

Note that women get initiated with messages, they might miss your message

Everyone has their own preferences don’t take it personally if someone is not interested

I know I’m not everyone cup of tea and that’s okay

Be patient it can take time to meet someone

Don’t send cock pics
