I think friend requests are for people you talk to and have a rapport with. For me I have always asked for them before sending one, seems only right.

Any I have gotten that were from complete strangers got accepted, I checked their profile and then unfriended.

Have only ever got friend requests from couples or guys iv never spoken too. I don't think iv ever sent a friend request. I may have winked at someone when I joined at the beginning but haven't in ages

Ya myself and my wife are both bisexual and if we see a match we wink this follow by a chat if all goes well we share face photos the add friends and possibly numbers if couple is happy I never accept friends request with out chatting ever

We delete all random friend requests, where there has been no previous contact or communication.

If they're from blank profiles with no pictures, we block them also.

We only do friend's with people we have met in person we have that posted that on our profile and most people are OK with it don't see the sense in friending people we never met .

I've never sent one to anyone I haven't been chatting to for at least a few weeks.

I have received lots of unsolicited friend requests though from people I've never spoken to and in a lot of cases have never seen before despite the fact they may have 100+ veries and been here longer than me.

I've also had quite a few from those needing numbers for their assault on hotpics.

I've never accepted any of them.

Some people accept when they know the sender is offline so they can perve their pics and then delete again.

I can't be arsed doing that because if they don't have the courtesy to at least say hello first there's nothing in their profiles that will convince me they are worth speaking to.

Have been chatting to people on here for years and never sent them friend requests

Always wanted to but didnt want to make things awkward between us in the future if they didnt accept and always know if we're each others type by reading the profile anyway

Some people you can become friends with knowing nothing will happen between ye but you'll see them in real life anyway

Its only lately Ive sent out some requests as we'd be chatting in groups and have socials organised

I send friend requests if I like a profile or someone messages me and they seem nice (and hot) but we aren't free to meet at the moment. I do this mostly because its hard to find people again and I'm pure lazy .

I always ask them if it's okay to friend them first Ms N

No previous contact we just block majority are single guys and blank profiles. We add people we've physically met or at least conversed within here who are verified .

Gets on my wick to,It shows what their personality is like, they are not polite and that they are presumptuous and don't bother reading profiles.its rude where as it probably stated in the first two lines of ones profile--- "No random requests with out speaking first".

In fairness, there are some people who will chat away to us and then ask if it’s ok to send an FR. But we always point out that we only accept after we’ve met (sure, if a meet is imminent, we’ll swap faces prior to the meet)

They can only see your friends only photos.

But it seems to be a common thing for women and couples to add you as a friend, have a look at your photos and unfriend or block. Strange but it happens.

I have never ever sent a friend request. In the four years I've been on here I have accrued/curated less than a dozen, all of which were incoming requests from women with whom I'd been speaking to for several months or up to a year.

I often receive unsolicited friend requests and these are swiftly deleted with the contempt that they deserve.

I find the endless friend requests from people that I've never spoken to really bizarre. I get why people do it if there are friend only photos as they want to see them, but I don't have those. If I did,I'd still refuse,why would anyone want to open up their pics to someone they haven't met/spoken to. I wonder if some people do it so they look like they have lots of friends on their profile.

I only wink if not sure or they have stated they are looking for in area that you are not suitable.

And a message if they are in what I am looking for and sometimes will send a friend request. All depends. If nothing happens move on

Ah, I wouldn't fret about it. Were hardcore over here, the only thing we don't look for is the eircode.
