"Cash all the way! Unless it's a big purchase like electronics or online purchases for warranty - then it's credit card. Don't have Revolut, or PayPal. I'm stuck in the dark ages and planning to stay there " You witch from dark ages

"I think with me with card, it’s the convenience. Switch some money onto the revolut and it’s there to use. Don’t have to go near a hole in the wall. I was out last Saturday for some food and we had some drink in the premises too. While there I noticed nobody paid with cash. Think the younger generation are all into card now also." Until you get to "insert store" and they tell you: sorry, our terminal is down - cash only ". Oddly, it's happened a few times to me recently where I've been made aware ahead of purchase. Doesn't bother me, I carry cash but I've seen people grappling for cash or walking back out... As for convenience - I account for everything I spend, it's much easier for me to budget with cash. I draw my allowance, leave what's needed for the incoming bills off my account and after that, the rest is no more or towards savings.

"Personally prefer to use cash as its a tangible object and I know how much I'm spending and how much I've got left " that’s the beauty for me on revolut. I put X amount on and I get a notification each time I spend money.
