House swap

Has anybody here swapped houses with somebody for a short period of time like weekends or weeks

I'm looking into doing this as a way of holidaying on the cheap, come to a mutual agreement with the other party and there you go almost free holiday

Is it unheard of on fab?

I know there are house swapping websites online

We always let families use our house when we are away. We have tons of animals to feed and look after so it's a great way to get them minded and at the same time give a family a chance to have a break who might not get one otherwise. We have 1 family there now while we are away in Mallorca this week, and a different family in when we are in Kerry in a couple of weeks time. Have never actually stayed in someone else's house, but we have done the other way around a bunch of times. We like to choose families with loads of children as it's so expensive to take em all away and we are setup for kiddies

No. We may do a swap at some point but not so many places can accommodate all 7 of us.
