What gifts have you received from Fabbers?

city

There is a thread running today about who should pay for the hotel room for a meet.

While its never necessary, I'm often touched by the thoughtfulness and generosity of some people I've met.

One couple brought me a personalised calender.

Another, a book, ordered online, with artwork of all the kinks and fetishes I like.

A pastry chef fattened me up with two trays of the most delicious pastries.

A cook brought me, whiskey cake and porter cake, straight from the oven. Some brought me wine.

I was very impressed, and their thoughtfulness made the meets very memorable.

What gifts have you given or received at meets?

Not a thing. I've never given or received a gift on any meet.

I have bought gifts for long term fab friends over the years but that's as far as the gift exchanging has ever gone.

Ive gotten some lovely handmade gifts over the years as a singleton here, and after one meet, a book we'd been talking about.

Not necessary, or expected, but nice to receive all the same

I probably should add, that most of those treats were on repeat meets, where we had got to know each other and had shared a lot of intimacies, kinks, etc. That's why I love repeat meets with people who've become friends.

Apart from themed birthday and Christmas gifts from fab friends, as in pineapple theme etc...

One guy made me smile, he landed with a 3 pack of car air freshners into my car for our coffee meet.

The cute thing about it was, they were the ones shaped like three known ice Lollies.

Where do I start...

First gift was from secret Easter Santa that we organized during lockdowns (good few fabbers sent each other a small parcel. It was beautiful)

We got fridge magnet picture frames, squishy and a sketch pad.

Second massive gift was a huge bouquet of flowers that a bunch of fabbers collectively sent to our home after my cancer diagnosis.

Then there were two hampers of pamper stuff organized by fab ladies during chemo.

Then there was secret Santa organized by Devine Destiny for one of our socials where Dirk got a gigantic light bulb from Pete Panther and a tub of fisting lube lol

Then there was a few times I got dick shaped soaps, boobie egg cup...

For my birthday (at the freak show) I received a beautiful duck frame, money heist eyeshadow pallete and more self pampering stuff from dear friends.

Most important gifts that we received were donations for charities we support.

There's many more things I forgot to mention that we received over the years

Fabbers have been very kind and generous towards us as we always strive to give back as much as we get.

M&D

If meeting for first time I was bought tea a few times, others I paid for myself and sometimes I paid for him too. I don’t mind either way.

From mostly long time fab friends (Friends with or without benefits) if holding a party or if it’s my birthday, or no reason at all: candles, alcohol, ice-cream, chocolate, flowers, lunch, nights away, diffusers, fun items, spa voucher, play blue voucher, liquorish, donuts, etc

I’ve been pretty spoilt!

I love giving presents too though usually chocolate, alcohol, diner, breakfast, little trinkets, fun sweets or flowers

Does having a cuppa made for you at someone's house count as a gift?? Think that's what I've got, bloody nice cuppa it was to be fair! I'm usually fairly persuasive about buying the coffees/treats on public meet ups/socials. Did grab a bottle of vino when house visiting for someone a while back. All depends on the scenario!

Id find it hard to imagine being invited to a house and not be offered tea. Its an Irish thing.

I have been extremely lucky to receive some very thoughtful and amazing gifts. I have amazing friends!

My first wand which I had about 10 years (amazing!)

But most recently at a social a homemade soy candle made with my favourite essential oils...Ylang ylang, lemon and patchouli insanely good!! Thank you!! Probably one of the nicest candles I've ever smelt!

Never expect any, but we have received quite a few -

Massive bouquet of flowers, hampers and some small stuff from fellow fabbers who have become friends overtime following my cancer diagnosis.

Received a lovely squishmallow, magnetic photo frames and a sketchbook from secret Easter Santa (Beardrills) that we organized and participated at during lockdowns.

Devine destiny kindly gave me one of her dresses and a lovely duck related birthday present.

Kinkyboots01 gave me her flats when I was unable to walk any more in heels.

Pete Panther brought Dirk a gigantic light bulb to one of our m&g's because Dirk is obsessed with lights lol

At the same event DevineDestiny organized a secret Santa gift exchange- we received a tub of fisting lube, titty egg cups and a dick soap.

I have received a "Money heist" NYX eyeshadow pallete for my birthday this year which I love and use every day.

Received a bottle of craft Gin which was delicious!

Received a bottle of homemade toffee liquor which is so good - its being saved for special occasions.

I'm sure I forgot to mention a good few things, people are generous when you approach them with an open heart and good intentions.

We love to give also and do it all the time, just don't write lists about it

City and County

When we host we don't give gifts but when we are invited to someone's house or hotel we usually bring a bottle of their preferred tipple (red, white, prosecco, beers etc)

Chocolates, take away coffees, toys, lingerie and flowers have also been given. We feel its a nice gesture as we're being accepted into someone's home

Donuts...Bogman

Probably the best was a wardrobe and chest of drawers from a couple who were updating their bedroom and knew I had just moved into my own home. I had said previously that they were ideal for upcycling and a few days later they offered them to me. Still have them.

"All I have got from here is lies.."

Why does this make me laugh? Am I supposed to feel sorry for you? I can't , it just feels like the big lip.... Who do you want to read this and be affected by it?

Couldn't help myself but I reckon you have posted a few of these "poor me I've been hurt" lines before.

You know you have to get over it at some point.
