Hi folks, can anyone advise me here.. I met someone on here and he verified me twice.. The verifications left his account, but I never received them.. I’m unverified still.. I have contacted admin and got generic reply’s.. The person who verified me has been verified before so that’s not the issue and we don’t share the same internet connection.. Has anyone had this issue before?

Could be other fillers set on each others profile eg i verfied a lady here but it didn't go through on her side as she wasn't lookin for females .....

It's usually down to some filter you or they have setup. Ran into this a few times. Make sure that the age range matches, that you're set to meet the particular group (e.g. single males).

If your filters exclude each other you can’t verify someone whose filters you fall outside of

Have you come across this too? Did you get it sorted? It must be something like that.. I have literally opened up my profile to meet men women etc before he verified me the second time and it still didn’t go through.. Maybe it’s something his side but he has never had an issue before.. it’s annoying esp when admin just send generic messages saying to check the policies.

When you click on his profile does it say he verified you on the top? Also it has happened that we have received a veri and hadn't noticed it come in until you go into account and you see it there where you have the option to press the display button. What I'm saying is that it might be there and as you are newish maybe your not sure where to look

Hi thanks for all the info.. I appreciate it.. I just checked his profile and all it says on top is he is on my hotlist.. There is nothing to say he verified me.. it’s driving me slightly bonkers at this stage

If you shared an internet connection, even in a hotel he can’t verify you as the site will think it’s a fake profile trying to verify itself.

You do have message filters on so that probably has something to do with it.

Ask him to navigate to:

Account - Manage Verifications - Verifications you have given (top of screen)

If the verifications he said he left are not logged/visible here, they were not sent because your profile filters did not include his profile attributes (male, age, site supporter etc)

Looks like you have lowered your filters to allow single guys but check the other filters like allowing contact from site supporter etc. You sending him a wink might still not allow him to verify you.

Thanks so much for the detailed response.. I’ll ask him to check all that.. he’s not a smoker though so I doubt it’s that.. it’s so difficult just to get verified
