Dundalk(ish)

Mauds and Morellis are nice enough, but if I could only have one ice cream for the rest of my life it would be the original Cafolla Brothers whipped mallow in a little carton from Lurgan. T.

So it seem's that Bob n Bert's is unanimously unpopular. What makes Morelli's and Maud's so much better?

I've not lived in NI that long, so I am still learning your ways

I think Morelli's ice cream is tasteless and not very creamy...Maud's is the opposite. I've not been to Bob n Bert's except for a sandwich

So it's all about the ice cream then? Not the food or drink?

Bob +Bert's food and coffee is really dear for what it is.

Portstewart Morelli's breakfast fry has saved my life on several mornings after but Maud's raspberry ruffle ice cream is like poetry for my taste buds.

Apparently Italian chippers started because one guy was taking a ship from Italy to America back around 1860 and when the ship stopped in Cork he thought he was in the USA

He got off, ship left without him and he went to Dublin, saw that no one was selling food in carts so he started selling roast spuds which led to chips.

He was sending so much cash home his neighbours got wind of it and they came here and started selling chips as well.

True story apparently

Nunya

I’ve never heard of B&B’s until know, just googled and the closest one would be Portadown.

Nugelato or Graham’s would be the best around us.
