Take a trip up to the Spaniard it’s with in walking distance from the town not bad either

Thanks. I was in the Spanard tonight and it wasn't great. My last few visits to the Bulmans were very poor so will be avoiding that place. Bulman used to be good but it's gone off in recent years. My last experience was about 6 months ago and I was in for lunch. Ordered mussels and they came about 2 mins after I ordered-Microwaved and barely edible.

Jim Edwards number one for us for food followed on by the White House.

Blue Haven serves good food but a tad pricey.

Hamlets for pints.

The black pig is a great spot, food was great and they had a great wine list (2021). I believe it’s consistent.

Man Fridays is great for food but pricey.

Never eaten there myself but nice for herself to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset
