Damp a face cloth or a smaller towel.

Put it on your legs/feet.

Turn a fan on or open a window on each side of the house to create a draft.

Hope this helps

If I’m really struggling to cool down at night I put on wet socks (don’t judge me ). Or in really desperate times, a hot water bottle, only half filled into the freezer, ready to cool the toes at bedtime.

Funny thing is I’m from South Africa and never had to resort to these measures back home....

Sheets (or just pillowcase) into a bag and then into the freezer. Pop ‘em on just before bed. It’s a bit of hassle but totally worth it.

Shower before bed and gradually turn the water to coldest setting to cool your body down! Also a good time to have that last stroke of the day

Get a pet (dog/cat) gel cooling blanket and pop under your sheet, it draws the heat away from you and keeps you cool. There are gel or cotton types on Amazon
