Met him in Athlone a few years ago. Asked for a photo, yeah no problem he says. I opened up the phone. He sees a Man Utd screensaver and said, United!? You can fuck off, and pretended to walk away. All in good fun though. Lol. Still got in for a photo RIP

LEGEND ...the last time l Saw Aslan there was a lady in a wheelchair at the side, she was brought to the side of the stage and Christy went over , laid down flat on the stage , leaned down and shook the ladies hand, CLASS.. and he had in in Buckets. My fave song was PRETTY THING .God rest Christy..he was truly ICONIC.
