They’re due to go up from midnight this eve…..back to the chaos that was until recently! Have you seen decently priced diesel/petrol lately and if so, maybe you’d pop the price & location here….it’s not often as fabbers we want to fill up a load, normally it’s the opposite!

Look forward to seeing your posts….

I don't think this 6c rise brings us back to the chaos tbf.

I'd rather it didn't go up but there's already that much difference in price between different stations as it is.

I think it's reasonably priced as it is but this government intent on bleeding us for even more money after making record profits from corporation taxes 15 billion, it's not enough for them so 5 cent added tonight from 12 pm another 2 increases this year should bring it over the 1.50 mark still too expensive, we are being shafted

Next door

Petrol 1.49 in East Wall Dublin.

Imagine the price when more and more electric cars are on the road. The state will need to find that loss revenue!

Noticed some places have put up the diesel prices by 5 or 6 cent already. Same ones will probably throw another 5 or 6 at midnight

Somewhere you aren't

Do you have a savings account and, if yes, why?

Do you view this as running a profit or do you view it as preparing for investing tomorrow?

Dublin west

I filled up at 141.3 today so it's still well down where it was over the winter when it was over 2.10 a litre.

You can be sure they will be looking at the road tax for electric and hybrid cars as they become more popular and the petrol and diesel cars disappear

URPANTS

The price of the electric cars are horrendous. Diesel and petrol will be around for long time yet. Aint enough raw materials being mined for all the batteries needed.

I have a total dislike for this Government as they don't give a tuppenny f**k about the ordinary guy or woman trying to keep a car on the road with everything that's involved

Insurance

Tax

NCT

cost of Petrol/Diesel

Mechanical maintenance

Parking costs

Tolls

..they are also trying to get old reliable car off the road as they don't want petrol/ diesel vehicles on the road.

They say that a modern car is affordable @ €37,000...what a shower..

You may well be correct but since the foundation of the state just over 100 years ago the same two parties have controlled government so maybe blame them rather than blame people who haven't yet had a chance to govern ?

This isn't a savings account this is people lives struggling to pay high rents and mortgage increases, there seems to be no end to it, all I'm saying is give people a break
