I made a sweet potatoe ginger and coconut soup last week. Was very nice. Also nice mashed on top of mince (cottage pie)

If it's on a dinner plate or in the dish on a menu. It wouldn't put me off the actual dish.

We're both pretty adventurous cooks and like to try different recipes alongside the tried and tested family staples.

The tastiest thing I've done recently was pork in shawarma spices served in Lebanese za'atar flatbreads with salad, toum, pomegranate sauce and pomegranate seeds

And if you like sweet potato, try making Jamaican pepperpot stew - it's delicious

That was my dinner this evening - roasted sweet potato, carrot and parsnips in one dish with some chicken pieces in a paprika seasoning. It was yummy

Try the sweet potatoes with carrots, chopped into sticks, honey, sea salt and cracked black pepper. Baked in oven - delish

I love cooking and am adventurous in the kitchen. Fairly healthy eater, lots of stir fries and the air fryer is a god send. But do love cooking a nice medium rare rib of roast on the weekends with all the trimmings.
