"I see this sentiment in threads and posts pretty often, I hadn’t really had to deal with it as we normally have filters on but while Paul’s been away for an extended time with work I’ve had my filters off and I’ve honestly been pleasantly surprised. Have I just been very lucky here or have things calmed down on this front on fab?" Nope, you're not the only one . I've rarely gotten rudeness/abuse when I was on my single's profile (Mrs here). I can't really speak for the couple's profile as we have single men filtered so they can't contact us but in times gone by, when the filters were open, we've never gotten rudeness or abuse from anyone .
