Just a post looking for some advice regarding the above. I’ve a patio out the back and I need to do a job on my pots this summer to make it look attractive, pretty etc….

Anyone hear any suggestions on what I could pot and where you get your plants from? I loved this project during lockdown and I’ve abandoned it the last year or two and just wanna get back into it again….green fingers & good for the headspace! Cheers guys….

Naas which is South West of Dublin

I usual head to B&Q (I have a trade card) and gets lots of stuff there to fill window boxes, hanging baskets etc. with whatever I think is nice at the time, but I’m sure I’ve seen stuff ready for repotting in Lidl/Aldi/Choices.

Any local garden centre should be able to point you in the right direction.

The best splashes of colour will be for from bedding plants. It'll just mean changing them a couple of times per year but it's worth it. Depending on where you are in Dublin, the likes of Tully Nurseries out near Blake's Cross will have a good selection in a few weeks. It's a bit too early yet for summer bedding. They also have a good selection of trees and shrubs. Don't tell them I sent you though
