There’s times we get several offers to meet (95% of the time don’t suit us )

But when we post on our status about that we looking for meet that suits us

Very little (genuine ) respond

Hard to win

I assumed the op eas just having a gentle moan about life really....its the way it goes

Personally I hope they don't put best before dates or use by dates on profiles

Never know which one you're meant to smell first to see if its ok to eat or throw in the bin

In fairness to the OP, we kinda get it. It's the old Sod's Law thing. We're rarely available evenings & weekends because that's when I work. Now we have a rare opportunity to meet on a weekend evening coming up, it'll be Sod's Law that no-one else (all usual provisos apply) will be free.

I think what OP means is that if you know you are available on a regular basis you can advertise that fact but I think most would use the updates and the meeting calendar thingy for that purpose.

We have found that we will get interest from couples and ladies looking to meet ,but with work and kids it doesn't suit,then we book a hotel for a weekend away and post that we are looking for fun, any we get no replies, so frustrating
