Cork is very small town to meet someone so it’s normal to travel around to meet.I am safe people because I prefer quality than quantity : I don’t meet everyone in cork.

You don't have to justify or answer to why you meet in different areas. Crack on and enjoy yourself. As others have said there's no club in Northern Ireland. Have fun

Newry Down

Puritanically, Northern Ireland is probably at the same end of the spectrum as the Outer Hebrides in Scotland, where I think they still chain up the swings in the public parks on Sundays.

Seriously, if a swingers' club opened in Belfast, it would be picketed out of business into bankruptcy!

People of a certain vintage will remember the strip club that opened in Belfast in the early 2000's. It was a strip club nothing more.

The Free P thumpers were outside it almost every single night until it closed within a year.

The local rags would be drumming up faux outrage and disgust. They did two stories on a Hedo Ni M&G held in a council owned building. Exposed the organisers, faces plastered over the front page. It was a masked ball it wasn't even a sex party.

Honestly I can't see a proper full time swingers venue opening in NI anytime soon.

It is. Thankfully the hardcore bible bashers are all geriatrics and either dead or dying. There is a flourishing gay scene in Belfast (including a gay sauna) so I don’t see why a swingers’ venue or sex club wouldn’t either.

There is still a few nutcases about spouting hate and wearing body worn cameras in Belfast.

The NI print media still has a small village mentality they love any sort or tittle tattle. Non stories of consensual sex events that wouldn’t register in England or even the Republic get the front page in Northern Ireland.

In the interest of accuracy, it wasn't Hedonism NI that hosted that particular M&G, but the rest is as you say

It's not just the religious dissenters though. The papers love a bit of salacious gossip and are more than happy to invade people's privacy if it means selling a few more copies

It also closed because most of the staff were illegal immigrants who didn't have work permits.

It was a restaurant by day and flouted loopholes in licensing laws to become a lapdancing club at night but only lasted a year because of all of all the legal anomalies. The protests just hastened the closure.

Are you sure? Dickheads with their amplifiers who are "spreading gods love" by screaming how everyone who's gay is a perverted satanic sinner and will burn in hell for eternity...

And those "Pastors on patrol" (that's what they call themselves, it even says that on their coats) marching around bars on Saturday nights... all seem very lively to me....

Missus

I'd heard about the 'pastor on patrol' but never witnessed them in action.

Honestly it's one thing standing in a public street but going into bars and clubs were people have gone to get away from all shite, have a bit of peace and quiet or and let their hair down is ridiculous.

I truly believe being an interfering busybody is ingrained in Northern Irish culture. Some people just can't keep their noses out of other folks lawful private business. They see it as some sort of personal crusade or project.
