Life gets in the way sometimes

Sometimes life gets in the way and schedules don't align to allow for a meet

Are you the type to have a meet within a week or two of the first contact.

What's the longest time you've ever had to wait between initial contact to a play meet ....Id imagine Covid caused a few problems

The pub then supermacs ...

Five weeks would have been somewhat the longest in a while back in January but he was well worth the wait, more recently by the time we meet up it will be 7 weeks but that's more to do with his work and distance but we're going to make a weekend out of it so it will be absolutely worth the wait

I like to have a social pretty quickly with someone but if we are taking it further then it can take a bit longer to organise. Life does get in the way and in most cases rightly so. If people don't understand that then I move on

Life definitely gets in the way and so does work as I'm on the road all the time I don't even know where I'm going to end up so trying to make plans is virtually impossible unfortunately

I agree with this 100%

Life especially with a young family and with ageing parents not to mention work and general life stresses can and does get in the way.

TBH if the person doesn't think we are worth their patience, time and effort then that's a good thing because they normally let that be known fairy quickly and they are exactly the type of people we don't want to meet.

Understanding is very sexy

Could be weeks, could be months.

All depends on how the conversation goes.

In saying that, I haven't met anyone new in 3 years so there haven't been any conversations like that.

This is a hobby not a lifestyle so real life will always take priority.

I'm a spontaneous sort of person so I'd meet after a message or two if it felt right!!

But currently I'm waiting months for a first social meet because of life throwing curve balls all the time

Somewhere in Co. Down

It's usually a couple of weeks of chatting before I would meet someone for a social first. I met quickly off here once and it was the worst and scariest meet I've ever had on here so I'll never again meet quickly off here. If someone doesn't want to take the time to chat first it's fine they can move onto someone else.

To meet someone again for sex after a social it's usually just a few days if we could arrange a time and place to suit us both.

For us we like to try do a social as soon as possible and then aim for play within 4 weeks. This year has been hectic with college, work and family along with other things so it means that there is unfortunately a gap of time, but we find most we meet are happy to wait

wouldn't you like to know

It's very hit and miss with my personal life schedule.

But I always make that known when I start chatting and we agree we'd like to meet for a cuppa.

Another thing is, that after being stood up one to many times, I'm no longer travelling miles for a cuppa.

I combine it with when I'm in that area or travelling through that area for other business anyway. That way its never a wasted journey.

And taking all that into consideration, it could well be that I'm seeing a guy who I'm only chatting with a week, before the guy whom I've been chatting with for 3 weeks. Just pot luck really.

But like I said, I explain that early on, so the guy can take it or leave it.

At certain times of the year work life always gets in the way of thing's for me anyways. So it could be week's or month's before I'm able to meet someone. I imply that in my bio.

Can't answer the lenght of time it took to meet someone off here, just yet, anyways.

Longest, currently 3 months, shortest 20 minutes.

Getting time that suits us is a nightmare, probably why we enjoy being spontaneous when we have the time

A few weeks chatting is normal before a social meet for me. Though there are a few guys I have been chatting to for months but between distance and availabity for us both, a meet is difficult to arrange. Hopefully a few will happen.

The longest I have chatted to a guy has been 6 or 7 years on and off. A social meet happened and 3 years later a hotel meet was eventually arranged which was probably one of the most disappointing meets I have had. So what you think you want is not always what you really need!
