I've known Craig and his family all of my life and whether you loved or hated him you could never deny his love and passion for the sport that he competed in. To say I'm in shock doesn't even come close to describing it. At least him and Jaffa can race together again now. RIP Craig. xx

Spoke with him a few times at various rally’s throughout my years, shocked and saddened at this. I still get goose bumps thinking back to his run a few years ago at Donegal rest in peace

Rip Craig

He seemed to be one of the nice guys of rallying

He was a brilliant ambassador of Ireland and motor sport

Sincere sympathy to his family and friends

Rember few yrs ago he done his local rally in a mark 2 and had his friend who's a wheelchair user sit with him as his navagior for the event

That for me anyway put him on a pedestal

Big loss to Irish motorsport

Rip

Such sad news

He was a gentleman who gave a lot back to the sport & always had a smile & great time for fans

He’s up with Jaffa & his childhood hero the great Frank Meagher

The Wild West

Unbelievable.... just unbelievable..

One of the good guys, taken way too soon.

They say nice guys dont win... that was BS in Craig's case.

Rest easy lad and thanks for the memories

Still in shock - just horrendous news

He was the life and soul of the WRC, wore his heart on his sleeve, oozed passion, enthusiasm and charm - and connected with fans in a way I've never seen before.

He was an incredible ambassador for Irish rallying and the country in general - and a guy who seemed like such a genuinely nice person.

He was just always just that rally mad kid living out his dream, but with the talent to back it up - and he took us all on that ride with him.

Really gutted he's gone, and still cant quite believe it. He no doubt would have been a corner stone of the sport in Ireland for decades to come - taken far too early. Life seems so cruel sometimes.

Such devastating news for his family and friends, RIP
