Does anyone else gets suspicious when someone just randomly dropped the fab word in a conversation. Are they trying to tell you something or is it a widely used word ?

My boss dropped the word yesterday. She is definitely fb material, although I do want to keep my job it made me wonder!

What's your experience with fab word ?

It is just a widely used word or at least it used to be and I guess some people are still using it. I would definitely not think or do anything I would regret based on someone using that word. It is, however, nice to think that there might be a very slim chance.

I'd say it's widely enough used to not read anything into it

Thought it was possibly being hinted at by a couple in the gym recently. Both used the "F" word a number of times in a conversation about holidays in Spain.

Most likely totally innocent.

But you never know.

If anyone uses the word, I assume they're a relic from the 1970s

'Fabulous' as a word is definitely making a comeback if it ever went out. Used on Strictly Come Dancing all the time. Don't think I'd be risking it as subtle hint!!!

Mr here

I think the word is used in every day sentences, I went on a holiday and it was fab.. your dress looks fab..

The weather is fab

Etc etc

So l don't think it has anything to do with here in those situations...when people talk about sex. Swapping or subjects like that etc it's mentioned ok

You should be able to tell by how she forms sentences

"Okey dokey, lets get this fab idea started"

i might steer away from the topic on that case! Ha ha!

I use it in the same context, it's a safe compliment to give in my head I'm thinking "damn girl, your ass is rocking that dress"

Next time she says fab, you say swinging. You'll know then by her reaction.
