"Didn't they want to make eye contact on public transport a crime recently "

"Transport for London launched a new campaign, amid at tackling sexual harassment of women and girls which included upskirting, cat calling and staring. Posters have now been place in tube stations across the capital stating: "Intrusive staring of a sexual nature is sexual harassment and is not tolerated."

And how does anyone prove that this staring is "of a sexual nature"?

I think they were responding to feedback from women who were using the tube less frequently because they were intimidated by aggressive sexual staring. I seem to remember from a news article at the time.

Eye contact can be awkward or sometimes a little spark of excitement in your man brain.

But always by accident not deliberately staring

On the tube, normal people do their utmost to avoid eye contact with anyone

Percisely how can you differentiate between staring of a sexual nature (whatever that means) and "normal" staring.. Ridiculous really

You’re not really supposed to stare at people in general

Depends what your definition of staring is though, does it mean looking at someone for more than 5 seconds or what

If they have their lad in their hand ready to do the business and their tongue hanging out at a jaunty angle it's probably of a "sexual nature"

I think it's time all of our brains are hooked up with a centralised thought monitoring system - then we can burn any sexual starers at the stake

Just for clarification... If you ever catch me looking at you, it's definitely sexual in nature.

Just as well there's no centralised computers so! I'd miss the entertainment here
