Some people want to chain text before even talking about meeting, some just want a text or two before meeting. I find the latter difficult as I’m always sceptical and think there’s a scan or something involved if someone what’s to meet me after a text or two.

Yeah, we had a similar experience. Found a guy Mrs liked, we both chatted to him for a while and all was going well. He said he'd like to be with Mrs alone which I was fine with after getting on quite well so we gave him details to contact her on private message app and never heard from him after he had been so keen. Took the fun out of it completely and has made us extremely unlikely to gamble on meeting someone from here now.

Hoping we will have more luck at a social with a view to meeting after that.

Yes I had same experience chatted for while with this lady swapped pics ect decided we meet for coffee I was there she text say on way to order coffee then nothing phone number blocked and fab blocked . Wtf so I had to coffee and went on my wayv

I like to chat for a while before meeting. Its good to see if we click chatting, like the same things etc. Then plan a social/coffee meet.

Distance can be an issue though. Though never say never
