If its broken but fixable leave it broke until i try to fix it, then if its still broken it needs replaced.

Never let me try and hang a door again is another unspoken rule. I quite enjoyed doing it but their was a lot of swearing.

It's a pretty trivial one here but there is one door that never really closes properly and makes noise when it doesn't, so best avoid that door altogether

Don’t log/report something to be repaired unless you’re willing and happy to do it yourself.

Some clients try to tell me the best way I should do job for them, I just smiled at them with my 25 years of experience. As I working from home some clients thinks that I working 24/7 trying to call me at weekend or off work time.

Newry Down

Over forty years ago I was employed in anorganisation where the incompetent boss was a nepotistic appointee being both the cousin and the brother-in-law of the CEO; they were married to two sisters.

The ambience was so toxic that incessant back-biting and whingeing was the norm and several cliques formed who did not speak to each other group of employees.

The wholly inexperienced manager wandered round in a stupour and did nothing to break the impasses.

Some of the board members organised a coup d'etat and later sacked the local manager, who was caught with his hand in the till.

It was an object lesson in how to let an organisation go to the dogs, via a long process of laissez-faire (mis)management. Naturally the organisation closed in due course!
