"No, we're by far overusing the legal disclaimer which is worth shit, considering you signed up under the site's terms and conditions - as did everyone else. No need to repeat it. It clogs up servers and we all know how harmful data centers are " Point taken

"Do people see profiles as genuine swingers if they only attend socials and don't have other type meets ? Perhaps they don't advertise every sexual encounter they have via verification" Perhaps. However not who t he question is referring too .

"Do people see profiles as genuine swingers if they only attend socials and don't have other type meets ? Perhaps they don't advertise every sexual encounter they have via verification Perhaps. However not who t he question is referring too . " I guess my point was, how do you know they're not having other types of meets. Those who don't see themselves as swingers are usually upfront about that being the case

"I think the issue is more that people are often labelled as disingenuous if they turn someone down" Disingenuous time wasters for having standards ... on a swing site of all places. Who'd have thought

"I agree with the last post lol . Just don’t think too much on words or labels , want is ment for you won’t pass you, I’ve met a lot of genuine friendly flok on here. Don’t discourage or think too much into the labels . Don’t complain as no one listens and just enjoy the interactions and banter when it’s coming to you ." Well said

"Genuine - genuine what though, or the word professional The word professional irks me as o just think professional at what - your job? Giving oral? Been a player? Labels are just labels- 99% of the time useless unless in a 50% off sale " I take "professional" to be a statement of class, i.e. "financially well off", with potential implications of "you should be too, or else know your place".

" I think this is one of the words that's unfairly picked on. I've chatted to plenty of people with professional in theor profile that were completely down to earth and unassuming. I think alot of people put it down as an indicator that they are serious about their careers which to me is a good thing. It's one if those that I think is read into more but the people who feel targeted by it than the people who actually wrote it.

"I know I'm probably going to get some shots here for using the word genuine in my profile at times butt f****** hair balls. Are we overusing the word genuine and genuinely and real and normal and all these other f***** u* words in search of compatible partners on fab? Given that the use of these words is probably a result of people feeling that they have chatted to less than genuine profiles, What's the alternative? " If a person wants to put genuine in their profile hey Knock themselves out ..it's their profile ..put whatever they want on it ... Their profile..their page..put whatever they want in it .

"I didn't know that 'genuine' is now a label. I'm not really specific-word-allergic, I find the whole idea of describing yourself with adjectives or labels bit cringeworthy, subjective and obviously worthless. Surely if I say on my profile I'm no bunny boiler, I must be no bunny boiler. " So then you are meeting?

I should have specified I think the class implication is in the minority.

"I assume when someone says 'professional' that there is a class element to it. They mean someone who works in a job that would be a traditional desk, 9-5, would need some form of college education etc. Woukd they view an electrician whonleft school at 16 as a 'professional? Probably not, would be my assumption anyway." I consider it pure snobbery

"Snobbery, Which in itself is also a generalisation, and relevant only to a personal perception of snobbery. Professional is obviously also a freaking electrician or plumber who gets paid to do it .... Do it for free , amateur " Do it for free = charitable? See, not so clean cut, is it?

"Snobbery, Which in itself is also a generalisation, and relevant only to a personal perception of snobbery. Professional is obviously also a freaking electrician or plumber who gets paid to do it .... Do it for free , amateur " The general purpose of a label on a profile is to attract a certain type of person, or to put off a certain type of person. Logically, if someone is looking for someone who is in paid employment, then why woukd they not just put that down? Or that you aren't interested in anyone who is unemployed? Using the word 'professional' to sum that situation up seems like they are leaving themselves open to misinterpretation.
