There are certain things that will be a hard limit and straight no for me. Both physically and personality-wise, I can often say if they AREN'T my type very quickly if there is something obvious that is totally off-putting.

But as far as whether they ARE attractive to me? That takes time and more than a pic or two. I hate the labels that get thrown about but I definitely need a combination of a few elements to be attracted to anyone.

It's hard to get guys to believe that at times. It can be taken as me giving them a gentle 'no thank you' rather than the 'let's wait and see what develops' that it truly is.

If I am saying no I am kind but clear. No mixed messages.

I suppose it is pretty subjective, but in some cases a picture or message can be off putting. Generally I find a profile to be fairly revealing.

Yes I can usually tell by pictures or a message if someone isn't my type. But then I don't have a type as such but I can tell pretty quickly on here if I'm interested in interacting with someone.

As for questions that annoy me there are a few that make me roll my eyes when I get them but it's just as easy to ignore them then after .

A person's profile is a good indicator , their forum posts or replies , from a guys point of view , to me a woman can be the sexiest , hottest , fittest , toned female on the planet but if she has qualities like arrogance , and is materialistic etc then it's a no no straight away ..please note that she mightened have the slightest interest either but lm only saying it from my point of view.

Fair point. But I would like to think that I'm more intuitive than that. You can judge pretty quickly and as a teacher I'm quite aware than spelling is not indicative of competence. I'm alluding to perhaps lack of care and attention.

We all have our imperfections ....even badgers.

I am probably less impulsive in making snap decisions than I used to be.

If I get a message and he is not ever going to float my boat for whatever reason, I would say in a nice but direct way. No point in wasting both our time.

I used to think I had a 'type' and probably missed out on a few good guys. I now realise there are some few really nice men on the site who don't chat on the forums, don't have an amazing perfectly written profile, or the sexiest photo's but who are just nice guys!

From the ladies point of view, I can understand as there are so many messers and assholes online. Plus they get bombarded by messages too most of which are probably not even worth opening.

From a males perspective it is difficult to bypass the usual load of inconsiderate messages to ladies but in my opinion, one has to be real, honest and genuine
