Do people have a pre determined amount of verifications they would like to see before messaging someone back or agreeing to meet some.

Would be great if there was a filter for this. The amount of messages I get where the profile has 1 verification and they are on the site 12 months.

Is this common?

It's not so important for girls / couples, but for men it's good to see a handful of meet verifications. Not a necessity for meeting people at events though

Sometimes the veri trail is more sus than the lack of veris.

But I get why some people rely on them and they are a somewhat useful tool.

If they were required after a certain period of time to keep an account active I could understand that.

I've also found getting meets without verifications isn't as hard as some make out.

Men are outnumbered here by 500/1 or even 1000/1

It's hard to get a reply let alone a verification so give some of these guys a chance they might pleasantly surprise you

As for who left them, never really think of checking. I dont have enough of an opinion of anyone on here to be put off by them

It's never been easier to get a veri. The amount of socials that run events for unverified users is more than ever.

If socials aren't your thing then plenty forumite have offered coffee meets in the past.

There is a chat room on the site where you can easily pick up at least a cam veri

I keep mine hidden too. It's a personal choice. I think that they're a double edged sword... A green tick is a handy thing to have. Sadly, many of the meets I've had are with members who've left the site.

I've met plenty of unverified people here over the years. But I'm judging them on their good communication skills and making efforts to meet for social etc. Plenty of well verified accounts are flaky af here so I'm all for giving newbies a chance.

I'm at 7 and counting. A mix of coffee, social and play meets, after a very slow start.

If it wasn't for my Fab Angel who did a first coffee meet veri for me I would be long gone off the site.

The "help a fabber" veri thread is really important.

I am happy to meet anyone in the Cork/Kerry/Limerick area if it helps

It is a hard world out there on fab for men as I do look at veris I like putting up verifications it shows what kinda person you are what you like by them and makes me feel good about myself with their kind words but need to clear a few as they from same people

Sometimes veris have many uses, today was a new low for me.

Not everyone and everything is what it seems on here just like anywhere.

It's all the fab game.

Very 'survival of the fittest'.

It's a pit of vipers with a few good souls sprinkled about to redeem it.

A meet will all depends on how I interact with a guy, not on what others thought of him.

I do look at verifications when a man messages me. And yes, who he has met and the number of play verifications do matter. A very detailed, badly written verification is an immediate turnoff as is anyone who has done the rounds of the site. Or met those who have.

Not judging anyone just my preference.

So yes, I would tend to meet guys with no or few verifs. But only after we chatted a while.
