"Iron Maiden !!

I was raging I couldn't get a ticket for Pusifer! I only found out about it a few days ago and went on TM where it said "low availablity".

200 for a ticket!

So they made ticket scalping illegal but only for the lads on the street. TM allowed to do what they want. Grrrr

I’m going to see the indie legend that is Robert Forster (The Go-Betweens) in The Empire in a few weeks.

Seen him before (in Glasgow), and with Grant McLennan before he passed.

The music press used to refer to them as the Australian Lennon & McCartney. So take that as recommendation enough to investigate The Go-Betweens if the name is unfamiliar to you.

It took Glasgow to give them their break in the early 80s. And the city embraced them and him. So being Scottish, I have to go to see one of our adopted musical sons!

Plus, I adore his musical output. A brilliant singer/songwriter.

Not much around as it is a small enough town but if u stay in Antwerp there is a 1am-2am train that comes from the Tomorrowland festival well about 2-3k walk but with 200,000 people leaving at the same time it is like walking up grafton st at daytime. Brussels is trickier to get back to if u don’t get the organised coaches. Honestly just an unreal place and safe as houses. If I get a ticket I’m heading back on my own.

If you can, queue up for the pit, in front of the stage. We did at Belfast King's Hall showgrounds. Treated to 2 gigs. Bruce came on at 5.30 for a solo set of about an hour,to show his appreciation for those early arrivals. Then with the e Street band later for another 3 hours. Outstanding to be 40/50 feet from the boss.

I'm more a festival kind of gal so I'm very much looking forward to a return trip to All Together Now in beautiful Waterford to see lots of different musicians. Last Summer was outstanding and I even got to meet a Fab couple at the Jameson Bar for some long overdue drinks. If you have never been to a festival this would be perfect something for everyone music wise not much of a trek around the site and you can bring your own drink into the concert.
