The many wasters and fake profiles put on here everyday is crazy. Maybe an admin charge for new users would help discourage them away from wasting genuine peoples time? Any other thoughts on how to out the "baduns"?

Its a game off luck on here sometimes. If I come across a waster I would mail some the fems I chat to, to tell them . I try and stick to 1s vertifed by meeting in perso.

its way too easy for fakes they are even verifiying their own profiles , been on here on and off over 2 yrs and have given up looking for meets as its too much hard work between fakes and being a single guy but yes i agree start charging and mayb it will discourage the timewasters !!

Too many eejiots. The paysites are bad but nowhere near as bad as here. Something needs to be done like a creditcard payment so that admin know your serious or they can see how many accounts you've opened with that card and ban them altogether. Belfast is lacking some serious action!

The problem is that the train of thought is then turning to "everyone is guilty until proven otherwise" and that is a very dangerous path to set out upon.

I admit that I have not found any time wasters on here. Yes, I've mailed people, we've got along, but we have never met - is that time wasting?

And if you only meet verified users, then what about the new genuine people who joined - we were all on here once without verifications and some still are, but are not timewasters.

So like the various "no reply" threads on here, perhaps suck it up and move on or maybe change the way you search for people if you find you are getting a lot of wasters?

But try not to assume that all are guilty until proven otherwise - governments are already doing that!!!

I was called the biggest time waster on here a couple of weeks ago because I didn't meet this lad. I think my verifications make it clear that I'm not a time waster and I do meet. Just wasn't interested in meeting him.

Probably could have spelled it out in capital letters but then I would have been the biggest b@tch on site. There is no winning with some people.

I think time wasters are a general word on here if your not interested your a time waster. Really this thread comes up alot and it's a no win situation cause everyone has there definition of time wasters when really that not the case it could be the person is not interested... As stated before and will state again move on as the saying goes as one bus leaves another one arrives

I started a thread last year asking to define a timewaster. Was a real eye opener to see what people considering timewasting on this site. Mad thing was how one persons defination was completely different to the next. I hate the word and i really think it is used way too much on here.

Back to topic OP fab is popular because it's free with the choice to upgrade. Paid sites have fake profiles as well. No matter the site you'll have the fakes. Its just a matter of learning to spot and avoid them.

Timewasters in my eyes.....someone that opens a profile, chats with you for a while,asks to see your photos when they have none of their own. Then after maybe a few days their "horn" has wore off and they delete their profile yet to see them come on again the next week and do the same thing over. Or people that arrange too meet and do not show up. Maybe those could be called timewasters?

Maybe I've set my standards too high and need to start lowering them and Fucking all the ones with endless amounts of verifications and photos of them going bareback with everyone that will fuck them. Hmmmm.

An admin charge WOULD deter the idiots who open new profiles every week.

And admin charge wouldn't deter people coming in with the mindset of wasting other peoples time? They know they are coming on here with no intention to meet and that they are going to arrange meets and either not show up or delete their profile just to start another a few days later. Am I right?

A time waster, is someone who will arrange a meet and not show up, then gives a shit excuse. I have been guilty of the first, but not the second and I know I had no choice but to cancel the meet. But I have since had a few meets etc so I'm happy enough.

I think the way FAB admins won't allow public naming & shaming is allowing it to get out of hand. Perhaps a tab to show a list of 'no shows' and the reason they gave? I know that will mean we all get to see who is trying to hook up with whom, but if only the fakers are outed, then no harm.

I also agree that many people are assuming the worst, given how so many profiles have the old, "No time wasters," comment on their profile. DO you really think that's going to stop them? As if a TW is trolling though the site, comes across such a profile and thinks, "Wow, they don't want a TW, I'll just slide on."

I think Fab is fine as is. Fab, like the rest of the world, is imperfect and filled with imperfect people. Trust and use your instincts. You will meet some time wasters, some users, and some really nice genuine people. That's life!
