What kind of pictures do you like to see when browsing someone's profile? What's your do's and don't?

To respect peoples privacy while also giving a good impression of what they look like, I would assume a full body picture without a face should be the minimum requirement. Like in the style of verification pictures.

Meanwhile close-up pictures of a random body part are a bit cheap in my opinion.

well most of us like our face to be in our private gallery as we dont want all sorts or neighbours seeing what we like to do. We can send face pics in mail or friends can see them. As for public pics up to ppl what they put on theirs i suppose xxx

there are some great pics on profiles like lisa boob 2 baps eye and revs lips however i think its easier for women to use pics like these as men dont realy flout their lips eyes ect however if there is any ladies with an intrest in taking classy sexy pohots of men do let me know as its hard to take potos of ur self that may show the male phisic in a good light

I think cock pics are fine as long as they tasteful, I have seen some sights on here in the past, over the toilet bowl/sink shots don't appeal to me at all. Ones with really really thick wiry long pubes are not my cup of tea either. Also some guys seem to think that 15 shots of their cock is necessary on their profile, I think we get the idea after the first one

In other words totally not genuine, out to see what blackmail information "she" can get from people locally.

So be warned. If you give a face pic, be sure you wont be embarrassed if you get pulled up on it

I would never keep face pics on here , the thought of it gives me the judders.Many moons ago when we first joined the site I used to go on cam now and again and show my face until some guy said he had seen me about, really freaked me out, you don't know what psychos are lurkin on this site, always the profiles with no pics and not verified too. Now I just feel stupid that I ever thought it would be ok to show my face. Sooner or later some weirdo is going to pop up.

Similar kind of thing happened with me!!

I've heard of it happening a few times.

So am very wary now!

Hence the reason I don't have pics up for general viewing anymore,

Just for friends, who I'm comfortable with.

Well, us superheroes have to protect our identities after all, don't we!?

I kind see both side of the argument.

Ireland is such a small place and we all can understand the potential embarrassment of finding out, or disclosing to your neighbour that you're on FAB. Then again, as long as it's mutual disclosure, then neither of you have anything to worry about unless one of you is hiding something from family etc.

That said, I would estimate 85%, if not more, profiles belonging especially to females & couples stipulate they won't consider replying to a message without a face pic.

So, what is the solution to that? Someone has to trust that the recipient is genuine at some stage and the only way to know for sure is a meet, but then the percentage of demands for face pics rise to almost 100% before a meet will be considered.

It could be solved by having a piece of code written into the messaging panel, whereby a sender will tick a box to request a face pic and this will force the FAB messenger to automatically forward the senders face pic once the recipient confirms they are sending theirs back. A bit like ante-ing up in poker. Each member has to have a face pic stored on their profile, which will not normally be seen until the conditions are met, whereby FAB will exchange the pics simultaneously once both parties agree to it.

I know this sounds complicated, but it deals with the issue of at least ensuring both parties get confidence that they aren't the ones laying their cards down first, only for someone else to back away.

The penalty for not 'sharing' as agreed or being deliberately misleading should be the allowing of a 'Name & shame,' via the site admin.

As for determining if the face pics being stored are genuine, well that's gonna be impossible to determine and all we have to go on are the verifications from other members. So we're kinda back to square one.

Ultimately, it boils down to trust as well as your own ability to look someone in the eye and say, "Yeah, I'm on a swinging site, what the fuck of it?'

well it does boil down to trust and in this case the user is female on the site for months pretty much constantly and has no verifications so that is what had me smelling a rat in the first place.

It was pretty clear that she was looking for information about me. Who I was, what I looked like, and it was also pretty clear she was been very very reticient about giving anything back.

She kept insisting on a face pic and when i flatly said no she said that I had told her enough for her to know who I was.

Now I dont know about the rest of you, but that does not to me suggest a person who is interest in swinging at all.

I reported her in the hope that if others had a similiar experience with her then Admin might just smell a rat and kick her ass off the site.

Fact is that if you are swinging, the cornerstone has to be mutual trust and respect. Its all very well laughing it off saying that you have to be prepared for this and that. But if you have a job, children, a significant other, a parent, anything, you simply dont want a situation where some little creep is there in the dark trying to find out who you are for what is clearly a nasty purpose.

I cant of course name and shame like I would but if there is anyone in the Galway/Mayo area wondering, then email me and I will give you a heads up on who it is.

And of course, I can absolutely guarantee you the little creep wont show his/her/its face on forum to explain itself!

I hope you reported their sorry ass, however how much good that does I have lost complete faith in. We have had the same requests, guys after one message wanting face pics and when I say no, asking us to describe ourselves, these are profiles with no veri's and no pictures, do they really think we are that dumb like. I have also seen what I consider quite creepy questions being asked in the chatroom, 'Do you have kids' , 'How many kids do you have' , 'Where are your kids when you have a meet' 'Are you home alone' and the blatant 'Where do you live'. To answer any of these questions in an open chatroom is to me mind boggingly dumb.
