Who's everyone shouting for this season? Personally I'm a ferrari fan and have had my fair share of disappointment, so this year probably won't be any different lol

I grew up on F1 but I find it boring these days.

All about who has the money to buy the best engines and car, and the egos are getting worse than Premier League footballers. Less and less about the driver's skill and almost no chance of a decent competitive race.

Just wait til Elon Musk gets an F1 team. Lewis can stick anything he likes on his face and no one will care, he'll be in the pits watching the car take itself round the track.

Yup, Merc fan here but disappointed a bit. It'll be interesting to see them coming back to top, but I wonder how long it will take

I 'd also love to see Ferrari's Leclerc on top. Not really fan of RB, but interesting to see how they keep up. Alonso's surprising speed with Aston is something I hope will last too. Looking forward for quali and mainly race on Sunday

I'm actually surprised to see you saying it's all about money to buy the best and I have to disagree a bit on that.

Partially it's true as it's expensive sport (and Premier League is closer to your opinion), but recently introduced teams cost caps and seeing how rich Mercedes is struggling, just shows that it's not only about money. I like ambitions of small teams like Haas and you can see they're often able to get decent pace with the little money they have.

Also the new car shape brought back some pretty interesting races and overtakes because of the different aerodynamics, so it's actually even more interesting since last year. I loved to see Leclerc with Max last year in Bahrain, that just shows the F1 is getting more interesting again and hope to see more of that

Well I hope you are right as I'd start watching again if there was a chance of excitement.

Nothing worse than knowing the outcome before the race even starts. To me that's not a race.

I agree with you and that was usually the case till 2020 and unfortunately later in last we knew it'll be Max. I'm suspecting it might be the same again, but hopeful, that Ferrari, Merc and maybe even Aston or other teams will get their s**t together and change it.

Also, even if you'll know who wins, it's worth watching the other battles and teams bellow. You just need to find the drama story in it

Have a look at Drive to survive on netflix and you'll see many different points of view

For as far back as I can remember, there has always been two, (rarely three), driver's competing to win and the rest were out for a Sunday drive.

It's been marketed that way for decades!

My misses is a fan of Max, and can't stand lewis. However I'd love to see either sienz or Alonzo to take the top spot. But as redbull lockout on pole it would be an interesting race tomorrow.

It's a close call this year with the spend cap. I reckon that'll be more noticeable as the season pans out. Aston and Alfa making big strides towards the big boys x

No, that's new, since 2019.

I watched it in the 80s and 90s.

Tried the odd race since but found it too predictable.

If the chat above holds true I'll watch a few again. The guys I work with follow it so it'd be good craic if it has improved.

Is there a 'Tell Lewis Hamilton he's a muppet' club? I find him irritating beyond belief.

It was probably more interesting in some ways in the 80’s & 90’s (danger, crashes, unpredictable) but DTS has drawn me back

Yup, DTS brought my attention back too. I watched it in 90's for a while, but left away somehow. No matter how much is DTS creating the drama, if you know the season from outside by watching races, it's great to see stories behind

And exactly as you said, I also didn't like Lewis at first, but after few seasons now, I also appreciate what has Lewis done as driver and how. Don't really care about his extravagant side.

Looking fwd to a race soon. Enjoy guys
