How do u no who you can trust on this site? I see the verifications but are they all definitely trustable.

Wouldn't meet anyone that didn't have an up-to-date profile with pictures, photo verified, and ideally meet verified.

Blank profiles are ignored and profiles with verification from another blank profile raise my brow.

We're all in the same boat here and those spouting on about their privacy as they know people or work in with public (who doesn't?) can get in the bin!

Meet in a public place.

If its freaking you out that much perhaps its not the right place for you.

On a side note Id avoid meeting anyone who messages you tbh with a 3 week old profile, no pics, no veris. Your profile would be an immediate red flag to anyone with the slightest bit of experience or self awareness on here

Don’t jump in to meeting people, chat first until you’re comfortable and keep the chat fairly PG, that helps out the ones who just see you as a piece of meat.

Ignore anyone who’s first message is asking for a meet…they don’t even know what you look like so why do they want to meet you?

You say you were told about the site by a friend…can they recommend someone to meet for your first social? Or maybe go to a social with them.

If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.

Veris I take with a pinch of salt they just show someone showed up at some point that's all. Check the veri trail to see if they are genuine veris or just ones made from fake accounts.

To find out if someone is somebody I'm interested in meeting (when I am doing new meets) I chat to them for a while before arranging a meet I find most can't keep up a pretence for too long and red flags will show quick enough and then meet for a chat in a public place. If they aren't who they have pretended to be it's easy to just end it there.

I don't interact with blank profiles and the excuse of having no pics because they don't want to be recognised is a cop out because a lot people don't want it to be known they are on here but still make an effort. I also don't interact with any profile that has almost no bio or in fact any that doesn't appeal to me. I will check a profile before I even open a new message.

If you are getting a lot of crap mesages tighten your filters right up or block people from messaging and send first messages to people you like the look of.

Don't allow anyone to try and push you to meet or do anything you don't want to.Do not give out too much personal info either.

Going on a first meet off here can be a bit nerve wrecking but use the same common sense that you would use when you meet anyone new from somewhere else and you will be fine.

Ok that makes alot of sense to be fair, ya I was looking and the verification lead to either a hidden profile or a blank one and it just threw me right of completely.

Like I no what I want and what I'm looking for and I'm going to definitely tighten the message side of thing because it's so overwhelming with the amount and yet none no what I look like yet were saying things as if they did so threw me off there aswell.

Trust your instincts, meet in a public place, treat it like a normal meet-up from dating site. No expectations of anything

Veris are only veris, take them with a pinch of salt, noone posts bad ones.

Meet in a public place , if the person says they prefer to meet somewhere private, say no thanks. Honestly go with your gut.

There is a help a fabber out thread and it's a good place to start, as its a coffee social with well verified fabbers.

If you ever near sligo I'd meet ya for a coffee however you may want to stick a pic or two up to make sure your a woman

Also anyone who is verified but has said verifications hidden.

I don't bother replying to messages from people who don't even have a profile picture.

Would people want to meet you...

I understand from your profile you don't want to post pics publicly but at least have a profile pic up. How do people know you are a woman? You don't have to put up a face just a nice body pic boob pic or something. Maybe get pic verified. People are generally very cautious of meeting blank profiles (as you should be too).

Take people up on a coffee to get verified. As other Fabbers have said meet in a public place. Or go to one of unverified socials - DV8 do these on a regular basis. The socials are the best fun and a great way of meeting people for future potential fun. Zero expectations and no pressure to play.

You get out of the site the effort you put in.
