What makes you say that. I read the op profile and dont see any discrepancy in it and his post

Ok Im cynical!! Any of the UK clubs I have been in succeed cos they have some hard nosed business people making a living out of it.

This guy from his profile is comfortably retired. He wants to come to Ireland, to the Midlands to see about it, and to have "a few meets".

Now anybody on the scene for a few years will have seen false dawns before. fact is such clubs dont work in Ireland. You need the anonymity of a Manchester or Birmingham. Dublin wouldnt be big enough. As as for Moate or Portarlington? Ah lads!!

And if that wasnt enough to be cynical, he would like a "few meets" while he is "exploring the possibility"

Theres a new chat up line for the ladies. Instead of "RUHORNY" I could try "I am exploring the possibility of opening up a swingers club, and to enable me to explore it some more, would you mind sitting on my pecker"..

off to try that now...

I'm not a cynic and have to agree with fooey. Sounds like he's looking for meets by flashing money around. Or the illusion of money.

I think you'd better recap on where you picked that up chicken.

I agreed that the club in Dublin is all over the forums Hun.

Wasn't quoting you fooey. Was agreeing with the chat up line end of it and putting my two cents in.

c

fair play to the people behind the club thats run at the moment, its great that they took the chance and had the bottle to do it and if there were more people like them the club scene wouldnt be so behind the times in Ireland, roll on the next party

Just on the Dublin club, how many people would attend, on average? I really hope it's a success, but the proof is always in the balance books. Members may be very complimentary and it could be exceptionally well run, but the money has to come from somewhere, and that's 'Bums on seats.'

I should say that I have no reason not to believe it is anything other than a well run establishment, in case people think I'm being critical or negative.
