When chatting to someone and exhange face pics would you rather get a message saying sorry the attraction isn't there for me or would or ghosted? Me personally I'd prefer the message.

Thoughts?

I've never done this but I have been blocked a few times after exchanging face pics so I'd prefer to be told there was no attraction. Then again I haven't swapped facepics on here in a very long time for different reasons.

I'd prefer a message, but ultimately ghosting has the same result (not meeting) so if there is no attraction then continuing is pointless.

Agree rejection is rejection its shit either way but ghosting is a bit more shitty than the latter because you don't know why is it how you look or do they know you already do they know you from work the list goes on it doesnt just come down to physical attraction but also could have real life implications

Prefer to be told, I've been ghosted numerous times, stood up numerous times, even had one guy who knew what I look like, meet me for a coffee, look me up and down, says " no thanks your not for me" turned on his heels and left me standing in middle of coffee shop. Now I just don't bother

I've also had people full on argue with me and calling me names for telling them they're not my type, so now I just don't do the "let's chat a bit then I'll send you my face photo". If a person doesn't attach their face photo to first or second message - I've no interest in any interaction with them.

What this thread confirms yet again to me is that meeting people at events is so much easier, more time efficient and less pressurising than trying to meet privately. Some do prefer the private meets though and that's fine.

Maybe those having trouble with this stuff should consider attending events instead of relying on face pics and coffee for decision-making.

For the ladies, we're hosting a lunch social in Limerick soon. Also one in Belfast the following weekend. Ladies, you won't be ghosted at those! Nic

I had a uncomfortable coffee date when I first joined Fab where I had to tell him sorry there's not a attraction for me so don't want to take this further. The genuine disbelief on his face I'll never forget his reply " This is Fab there doesn't need to be a attraction it's just sex ". That's when I realised I'm just a set of 3 holes to some people on Fab and that makes my fanny drier than the Sahara.

No-one HAS to send a facepic. Some people like to see who they are perhaps going to be having sex with, and thats just fine. Don't wanna send a facepic? No worries just don't. You have your requirements and they have theirs.

My rule is anyone asking for a pic sends one first but anyone pushing for a pic can push on to someone else.

You don't have to do anything though. Make your own rules. Tell them you'll reciprocate when they send theirs, or however YOU want to work it.
